On November 26^th, 2008 the FICCI Higher Education Summit 2008 – “Higher Education at the Crossroads: Imperatives for Policy and Practice”  took place at Federation House in New Delhi. The European Commission Delegation to India and Bhutan as a session partner to the Plenary Session III on “EU-INDIA Higher Education Exchange: Study Centres Programme” introduced the India-EU Study Centres Programme (European Commission Technical Assistance) at 4.30 pm – 5.30 pm.

On 17^th – 19^th November, 2008, the Annual Meeting of Association of Indian Universities (approximately 150)  took  place  and  it  provided  the Technical Assistance Team of the India-EU Study Centres Programme (European Commission Technical Assistance) a forum and an opportunity to disseminate information about  the Study Centres among the decision makers and  networking  with  the  potential partners. AIU’s Annual Conference offered a unique opportunity to present  the  India-EU Study Centres Programme  and to interact with individual VCs on one to one basis.

On November 12, 2008, the “India-EU Higher Education Symposium” took place at InterContinental THE GRAND in Connaught Place in New Delhi; India-EU Study Centres Programme (European Commission Technical Assistance) was introduced here in a plenary session of the symposium at 4.45 P.M. onwards.
